What do I do: I work with 3D cultures from primary epithelial cells and I use the CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing system to study the impact of different genes on cell competition dynamics in cancer.

Creativity

I think about what I want to investigate then brainstorm ideas to find one that I can test with an experiment.

I work with my colleagues by discussing experimental strategies and how to analyse data in the best possible way.

Communication

I present data from my experiments to my colleagues every few months and I attend conferences with other scientists to share my discoveries.

Organisation

I plan my day to day activities, doing experiments, preparing slides for presentations, analysing data and attending training.
